Jun 14, 2026"I absolutely love this place! I usually get a delivery from Deliveroo but tonight I went in to the smiley cheerful service in store. My favourite is the goat curry, jollof rice and plantains in mama’s sauce. Cannot recommend this place enough"

Bringing my visitors and parents sometimes. What a good neighbour! Will always remember you and knows the big steps of life. The new shop came out well, go, order lots and often and leave a tip. I wish her enjoyable customers and awesome surprises, like holidays and prices and all the goodies:)"

Mar 04, 2026"Oh boy, no idea how I've never had African food or plantain. By some luck I decided on plantain without knowing that it was Mama's specialty. No regrets there, had it along with the Mama special sauce which was a super combination of sweet and sour. So yummy and addictive you just have to try! Highly recommended. Also got a vegetable patty which came with a nice taste of sweet potato (?) that I enjoyed. The aroma in the shop was mouth-watering, delicious smells of homecooked food, gravy and made me wish I didn't already have dinner waiting at home! What an introduction to African food! Will be back for more plantain and to properly try their other dishes next time."
